Being a young mother should not mean being left behind.

As the Caribbean observes and ends Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Week 2026, we join partners across the region in championing this year's theme: "Helping Adolescent Mothers Thrive: Preventing Unintended Repeat Pregnancies and Building Healthy Futures."

Supporting adolescent mothers requires more than awareness. It requires access to information, quality healthcare services, supportive communities, and opportunities to achieve their goals. It also requires challenging the stigma and judgment that too often prevent young women from seeking the support they need.

Recognizing that adolescent girls and young women deserve support, dignity, and opportunity, we must work together to remove barriers and expand access to the information, services, and support they need. By replacing stigma with understanding, we can help adolescent mothers thrive and build healthier futures for themselves and their children.

Together, let us ensure that no adolescent mother is left behind. 🤝

Sometimes healing begins with a conversation.

Across Jamaica and the Caribbean, too many people carry the weight of violence at home or in school in silence. Behind every statistic is a real person, a real child, a real family, and a real story.

This Domestic Violence and Violence in Schools Awareness Month, let’s create spaces where people feel safe enough to speak and strong enough to seek support. Whether at home, in the classroom, or in the community, every person deserves to feel safe, respected, and valued.

No excuse for abuse. No room for violence. Every voice matters. 🫂

Asking for help is not a sign of weakness. It is a sign of courage. 💛

This Suicide Awareness & Prevention Month, C-TECH reminds you that no challenge is too heavy to carry alone. Seeking support can be the first step toward healing, hope, and recovery.

Our Mental Health Programme provides a safe, confidential, and supportive space where individuals can speak openly and access professional guidance.

You are worthy of support. You deserve to be heard.

🌎💙 Different contexts. Common aspirations.

Across the Caribbean, young people may face different circumstances, but they share many of the same hopes: quality education and healthcare, informed choices, and brighter futures.

This International Youth Day 2026, we’re putting the spotlight on our partnership with @alinea_ideas , @_oecscommission , powered by @global.affairs.canada and our regional Ministries, The REACH Project.

Our initiative is putting young people at the heart of action. Through our Youth Ambassador Programme, young people are empowered to raise their voices, share their perspectives, and help shape conversations around adolescent health and well-being.

From safe spaces for dialogue to practical support for adolescents, the REACH project is working across the Caribbean to help young people thrive.

Different contexts. Common aspirations. One shared commitment to a brighter future. 🌱
