Message from the Executive Director

Since its establishment, C-TECH has grown into a trusted Caribbean partner in health systems strengthening. Guided by science, innovation and a commitment to equity, we work with governments, regional institutions, development partners, healthcare providers and communities to improve health outcomes across the Caribbean.
Our work has expanded beyond our strong foundation in HIV, sexually transmitted infections and tuberculosis. Today, our expertise encompasses non-communicable diseases; mental and behavioural health; digital health; public health surveillance and emergency response; strategic information, monitoring and evaluation; research; clinical quality improvement; and health workforce development. Through training, mentoring, technical assistance and technology-enabled learning, we continue to equip healthcare workers and institutions with the knowledge, tools and systems needed to deliver responsive, high-quality care.
Partnership remains central to everything we do. We value our longstanding collaboration with Jamaica’s Ministry of Health and Wellness, while continuing to build sustainable relationships throughout the Caribbean and internationally. We are equally committed to listening to the communities we serve, particularly young people and populations experiencing vulnerability, and ensuring that their voices and lived experiences help to shape the programmes and solutions intended for them.
As we look to the future, C-TECH will continue to combine regional knowledge, global best practices and practical innovation to address evolving health priorities. Our team is ready to deepen existing partnerships, establish new ones and expand our contribution to stronger, more resilient and equitable health systems throughout the Caribbean.
We invite you to partner with us as we work towards a healthier Caribbean in which every person has the opportunity to access respectful, responsive and high-quality healthcare.
