C-TECH will seek to build new relationships, establish sustainable partnerships and utilize science and best practices to expand our reach to strengthen health systems locally and throughout the Caribbean region. The C-TECH team has implemented ground-breaking programmes focusing on strengthening HIV and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) treatment, care and support.
C-TECH has also implemented a successful tele-mentoring programme through a Project ECHO®-based platform and model, reaching 456 healthcare providers. Through our health sector programming we have built the capacity of nurses, physicians, and other healthcare workers to better serve vulnerable groups and communities. The Ministry of Health and Wellness has remained one of our key partners and we are committed to supporting their ongoing work.
Our team is equipped and ready to move into this next chapter, deepening our local relationships, expanding our reach throughout the Caribbean, and building on our commitment to support access to high quality health care for the region’s most vulnerable. We value the communities we work with, and we engage and empower them to take ownership the promotion of preventive health issues.
